Anzac Affogato

This sassy twist on the classic affogato is a light way to finish off the perfect meal in good company...And it takes only three minutes to throw together!

Anzac Biscuit Affogato...An Affogato, with a twist! 

I LOVE a good affogato for many reasons. Besides the fact that it includes one of the tastiest substances known to man (coffee...duh), it's a really light way to finish off a night out and relax with friends, on those occasions when I don't feel like eating a heavy dessert. (Hard to believe but occasionally it happens!)

My darling man and I discovered this sassy twist on a classic affogato when we were travelling through Melbourne. It's so easy to recreate at home! All you gotta do is..

1) Put an Anzac biccie in the bottom of a glass.

2) Place a generous scoop of vanilla icecream on top of the biscuit. 

3) Pour over an espresso shot.

4) Crumble over another Anzac Biccie. 

Seriously, it's that easy. This simple combo has saved my butt a few times when I need to pull out an easy dessert for friends. Try it and let me know how you go!
