Peppermint Cacao Smoothie

Peppermint Choc-Chip ‘Up & Glow’

Serves 1


1 frozen banana

1 cup almond milk

1 to 2 drops peppermint essence, or to taste

1 tbsp cashew nut butter

3 medjool dates

1 small handful spinach

¼ small avocado

1 tbsp cacao nibs

Superfood Power-up: Green matcha power OR spirulina (start with just ½ tsp) OR any superfood green powder

Optional to garnish: Extra cacao nibs and fresh mint to garnish


Place all ingredients except for the cacao nibs into a blender. Blitz together until thick and creamy.

Add your cacao nibs and whir briefly. This creates delicious pops of ‘choc chips’.

Pour into a tall clear glass or mason jar. Garnish with cacao nibs and fresh mint if desired.

Tip To Simply: To save time, don’t worry about creating the layers! This is perfectly lovely with all ingredients whizzed together to form one smoothie.
