Refried Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 cup beans
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Few twists of black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Pressure cook the beans, adding salt.
  2. With a hand blender, mash cooked beans till almost pasty.
  3. Add red chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper, oregano, dried basil and salt.
  4. Mix well.
