Cashew Sauce

This smooth, creamy cashew sauce is rich yet light, with a subtle tang from ketchup and gentle warmth from spices. Blended until silky, it’s incredibly versatile, perfect as a dip, drizzle, or spread, and a great dairy-free alternative to classic creamy sauces. Easy to make and full of flavor, it adds instant richness to bowls, wraps, and roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 20 whole cashews, halved, soaked 30 minutes, drained
  • 2–3 tbsp ketchup
  • ½ cup water (adjust for required consistency)
  • 4 twists of black pepper
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ⅛ tsp turmeric
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
