Mexican Sauce

Description

A yummy mexican sauce that can be used for enchiladas, mexican pizzas and nachos!

Ingredients

  • Enchilada sauce/hot sauce-
  • 7-8 tomatoes, quartered
  • 4 dried red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2-3 twists of black pepper

Directions

  1. Method-
  2. Place in a pan, cover and let the tomatoes and red chilies soften. Cool, blend and strain. Place back in the pan, add the rest of the ingredients and boil for 4-5 minutes.
